Recognizing the growing challenge of food insecurity in the community, downtown business owner Abigail Rossman, Cream N’ Sugar, is partnering with UPMC, Coudersport organizations, and community members to launch the Coudersport Soup Kitchen.

The inaugural event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Coudersport Consistory, 111 2nd St., Coudersport. All are welcome to attend and receive a hot meal, access free personal care items, and explore available local resources.

Coudersport Soup Kitchen is a monthly initiative aiming to not only provide free hot meals but also foster resilience and offer crucial resources to families struggling with hunger in the community. The next event is scheduled for Saturday, March 23.
