Germania Old Home Day is scheduled for Sunday, September 1st  in the southern Potter County village.

Entertainment, food and legal beverages make for a lively gathering. One of the highlights is the drawing for cash prizes totaling more than $35,000. Raffle tickets will go on sale at 9:00 a.m., with the food and beverage booths opening at 11:00 a.m.. The band, No Limits, will perform from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m..

A horseshoe pitching contest, starting at 12:00 p.m., is open to the public.

Another crowd favorite will be the greased pig chases in women’s and children’s divisions, starting at 6: p.m..

Germania is located along Pa. Rt. 144, about seven miles south of Galeton.
