A challenging course in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds! The 25K features 4000 feet of ascent and the 50K promises over 7500 feet of up-hill climbing. All racers completing the course will be awarded finisher medals. End of race lunch provided. The Green Monster is nestled in the mountains of the Tioga State Forest just North of the PA Grand Canyon. It is the mission of the Tyoga Running, Club to showcase the beauty and difficulty of this terrain. You will be confronted with challenging single track trails, steep climbs, and technical descents all of which are very unforgiving. You will also find several stream crossings and an occasional log in which you will have to hurdle. This course is not for the faint of heart and will challenge the most conditioned athlete!
