International Observe the Moon Night is a worldwide public event that encourages observation, appreciation and understanding of our Moon and its connection to space science, exploration, and human culture. The program will include demonstrations about the moon’s distance from earth, moon folklore, and more.
Registration encouraged to relay information about the weather, but not required to attend. Red light flashlights are recommended. All ages welcome. Meet at the Nature Center. Program will be cancelled in the event of rain or thick clouds.
