God’s Country Marathon is Pennsylvania’s third longest standing marathon and has been listed as one of the “Best Small Marathons” and “10 Toughest Marathons” in the U.S. by Runner’s World Magazine.

A challenging series of race events: marathon, half marathon, and marathon relay held on the first Saturday of June. “Conquer the Hill” as you run the scenic route from Galeton to Coudersport.

A certified race and sanctioned event, the God’s Country Marathon is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. This race starts at Galeton High School and ends at the Coudersport Square.

You can drive, park, spectate and take photos from almost anywhere on the course, so we encourange neighbors, friends and family to book your stay and root on the runners!
