What’s the first thing you think of when you hear the word raven or crow ? Is it Spooky or Noisy? Do you know the differences between crows and ravens? Come on out to the amphitheater to learn some fun facts about these macabre creatures. Afterward, we’ll make a cool craft for you to take home.
Come on out to the amphitheater to get educated about elk! We’re celebrating over a hundred years of the reintroduced species in the state. We’ll discuss the habitat they live in, what they eat, and much much more in a fun filled game show fashion.
Take in the breathtaking canyon sunset and learn something at the same time. Park Naturalist Bob Edkin will share fascinating tales and lore of local characters, events and places. Bring a camp chair, hear a story and enjoy a relaxing evening. The theme for this evening will be Memorial Day.
On Thursday, May 30th, Kathryn Crawford will return to her hometown as the star of a mini-exhibit on her celebrity life and films. The Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center will host this tribute as a prelude to a Kitty Crawford Festival scheduled for the fall.
